The armchair is a stylish piece of furniture that can change its appearance at will: the essential innovation of the armchair is its cushioning, which lies over the supporting structure like a ceiling. The precisely manufactured pieces of fabric are fastened with snap-buttons, which allows easy replacement and radical alternation of the chair's impact using colour changes. The base is made from minimal wood cross-sections and features the hallmark of Jörg Boner: an appearance that is both graceful and sturdy.

Jorg Boner,product designer with a 1996 diploma from what was then the School for Design Basel.In 2001 he established Jorg Boner prod uctdesign in Zurich.Since 2002 he teaches at ECAL(Ecole cantonale d'art de Lausanne) in addition to his work as product designer.Jonathan Hotz completed the professional course in Industrial Design at the Hochschule für Gestaltung (School for Design) in Zurich in 2002.Following internships with N2 Design and Zemp & Partner, he now works as a designer at Jorg Boner productdesign.Lucas Uhlmann finished the ECAL(école cantonale d'art de Lausanne) with a Bachelor diploma in 2011 at the departement design industriel.He is currently undertaking a six-month internship with Jorg Boner productdesign.
Since 1983, WOGG has developed high quality furniture and manufactured it in the in-house workshops at GLAESER WOGG AG. The desire for new, smart methods of working as well as materials of the highest quality ensure the level of quality associated with Swiss products.
From the very beginnings of the company, products were developed with renowned designers such as Hans Eichenberger, Gerd Lange or Trix & Robert Haussmann. In recent years the company has established relationships with designers such as J?rg Boner, Atelier O?, Alfredo H?berli or Christophe Marchand. The close collaboration between all those involved in the process – from the initial sketches to the ready-for-sale product – forms the heart of the WOGG brand.
In the course of the years, WOGG has been presented with numerous recognitions and awards. In 2011, the stacking chair of J?rg Boner picked up the Interior Innovation Award “Best of Best” and in 2012 the same award was presented to Christophe Marchand for his writing desk . The highlight of the year was the presentation of the 2015 German Design Award for the stacking chair by Boner.
