Born and raised in the United States, Max Lipsey decided to settle permanently in Eindhoven, Holland, after earning his second university degree from the Design Academy, in 2007.

His studio, founded in 2008, was created as a personal platform through which to develop and self-produce his designs, work with mass productions companies and launch collective projects.

In his words: “My personal work reflects my fascination with nature, material, crafts, history and making these fascinations into an object.”
