Creatures which are slightly unsettling yet docile and harmless. Anomaly is a project full of contradictions, halfway between visionary manipulation of a body and a design of a household pet-object. The choice of natural coloured leather could be interpreted as an ambiguous and mysterious zoomorphic transformation or, more simply, the colours can be taken as reminders of the warm, reassuring tones of face powder. Household creatures which are as lovable as they are surprising, a transfiguration from a fairytale, almost surreal, world which combines in one object practicality and playful excitement.

Sofia Lagerkvist and Anna Lindgren are the members of the Swedish design studio Front. Their works are based on common discussions, explorations and experiments and they collaborate in all projects from initial ideas to the final product. Front’s design objects often communicate a story to the observer about the design process, about the material it is made of or about conventions within the design field. In their work they have assigned part of the making of design to animals, computers or machines. They have made a constantly changing interior, created objects with explosions, robotic furniture and a range of furniture inspired by their fascination with magic.
Agostino Moroso, with his wife, Diana, founded the Moroso company in 1952 with an artisanal approach to making sofas, armchairs and furnishing accessories. Their iconic designs have propelled them within the upholstered furniture market, with help from a long list of well known designers: Ron Arad, Patricia Urquiola, Ross Lovegrove, Konstantin Grcic, Alfredo H?berli, Toshiyuki Kita, Marcel Wanders and others. Each piece maintains a noticeable Moroso style while representing other cultures as well. Its international outlook has landed Moroso into the MoMA in New York, Le Palais de Tokyo, the Grand Palais in Paris.
