powder coating Terrazzo
The design for Cyclopedia stems from the high wheel bicycles of the 1870s. Unlike most bookshelves, Cyclopedia differentiates itself through its portable structure. This unique piece is a library and a display shelf that can be wheeled and positioned in various locations around the space to meet the owners preference and purpose. New edition of Cyclopedia is composed of bordeaux color powder coated metal and gray&white terrazzo, this hand crafted piece is sure to bring an eclectic vibe to any surface it leans against.

European female designer Merve Kahraman took her work: Hybrid No1 & Hybrid No2 and started a piece of furniture transformation. Inspired by ancient Western mythology, these two creative armchairs blend the ingenuity of materials to give users a mix of, exciting and strong visual impressions.
Merve Kahraman studied interior design at Istituto Europeo di Design (Milan/Italy) before heading to London to study MA product design at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (London/UK). During this time, she worked in several architectural and design studios in London, New York and Istanbul, including Tom Dixon and Tord Boontje.
She decided to focus on industrial design because she wanted to use furniture and products as an integral part of her space design. In her work, she studied the relationship between products and users. Understand the user's preferences by recurring items. Sustainable design, re-shaping character, and execution through exquisite craftsmanship are the goals that designers are constantly pursuing.
Recently, she is working on her own industrial design and interior design projects between New York and Istanbul.
Merve Kahraman Studio offers a comprehensive range of interior design services including concept design, project design development, architectural drawings and 3D visualization, brand image and graphic design, on-site inspection and interior architectural applications.
