Christoph Ingenhoven, born 1960 in Dusseldorf, Germany, studies architecture at the RWTH Aachen University and is a year at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf.
In 1985 he founded the architectural firm Ingenhoven Architekten in Düsseldorf. In addition to his design work, he is a jury member, appraiser and judge in numerous competition proceedings, lectures worldwide and is a member of the Chamber of Architects North Rhine-Westphalia, the BDA, Federal German Architects, and RIBA, Royal Institute of British Architects; he is advisor of the Aedes Forum e.V., Berlin, board member of the Lebendige Stadt Foundation, Hamburg, advisory board of the International Architecture Biennale, Rotterdam and member of the board of the Initiative Baukultur e.V., Berlin.
