Jean-Marc GADY designs a new range called KAGO, named like the Japanese palanquins made of bambu plait upholstered with a cover of silk. From this sedan chair, the designer kept the light frame in beech and the upholstery whose padding imitates the outside design. Kago is a complete range with uncluttered lines making like a nest. A work achieved all in curves true to Perrouin’s signature. Other version: upholstered with a real sheep fur. Not only elegant, it is really cosy. KAGO includes a chair, an armchair, a love chair and a coffee table. The wood can be stained as you like (natural, light white, wengue…until the very dark black) we can work as well as according to your sample.

Jean Marc Gady

Born in Paris in 1971, graduated from the School Blue Jean Marc Gady started his car-hind the creation of furniture, lighting and objects dedicated to tableware for Ligne Roset and Liv'it. It is the subject of several ongoing calls from VIA before joining Louis Vuitton, between 2002 and 2005, under artistic director showcases and set tra-scenes event to the world. Since 2005, Jean-Marc Gady has created his own studio. Its scope covers design, interior architecture and scenography with references such as: Louis Vuitton, Baccarat, Guerlain, Moet & Chandon, Diptyque, Dior, Chanel, Christofle, Gucci, Montblanc ...

Perrouin

The company is based in the west part of France. We manufacture wooden seats and chairs since 1875. Today, the 5th generation, thanks to the company’s knowledge in making high quality products, has been collaborating with designers for 5 years in order to manufacture contemporary lines. Still using our centuries old know-how, the new design is dedicated to interiors designers and to contract. Perrouin exhibits each year at Now in Paris and at the Salone del Mobile in Milan.
