Pelle looks elegant, spacious, and its semi-circular back and arm rest reflect the design language of Scandinavian classics. The special thing about Pelle: Its freely hanging seat made from sleek leather. It is also refined in the leather-bound aluminium inlay used for the shaping of the seat. With this chair we decided to return to beech for once – a wood associated with the early years of ZEITRAUM – because we find the combination between beech and natural leather especially appealing.

In 2001 Catharina Lorenz and Steffen Kaz open their own design studio Lorenz*Kaz in Milan and since then they work for clients like Antonio Lupi, Bedont, DePadova, DuPont, General Motors, Omnidecor, Rossin, Zeitraum, Zoltan.

Our core expertise is our decades of experience in working with untreated solid wood. For more than twenty years, Zeitraum has stood for modern, minimalist design vocabulary and for a sustainable design approach. Founded in Wolfratshausen near Munich in the year 1990, ZEITRAUM was the first manufacturer in the premium furniture sector to emphasise the combination of ecology and design. We have remained true to this philosophy to this day. Together with selected designers, ZEITRAUM creates high-quality furniture for living areas and the commercial sector.
